Narralis isn't just a generator. It's a co-author that writes scenes while you decide where the story goes. Every choice matters, every story is unique.

What it is

You describe an idea in one field. The AI writes 200-300 word scenes. After each scene you get two ways forward, each with its own picture, plus the ability to write your own action. The output is a complete story of up to 12 scenes, fully yours.

How it works

  1. 1Describe an idea — a single sentence or a detailed brief. Optionally set genre, tone, era, characters.
  2. 2The AI co-author (Anthropic's Claude) writes scene 1 and generates an illustration via gpt-image-1.
  3. 3You pick one of two options or write your own. The AI takes the context and continues.
  4. 4When you're ready to wrap up — click «Finish». The AI writes the finale with the full arc in mind.
  5. 5Share the completed story via link, or keep it in your personal library.

Our principles

  • Your stories are yours

    You're the author. We don't train models on your stories, don't share with third parties. Delete any story anytime.

  • Minimum data collection

    We keep only what's needed to operate: your email and your stories. When you sign in with Yandex, VK or Google, we don't keep your name or profile picture. Site visits are counted with PostHog and Yandex Metrica.

  • AI is a tool, not magic

    We don't claim AI writes masterpieces. We provide a tool that helps you experiment with plots and visualize your imagination.

  • Listening to alpha testers

    We're in closed alpha. Every question, bug, and suggestion from early users directly shapes what ships publicly.

How we're different

There are a few similar products out there — here's what sets us apart.

  • Narralis (us)

    Complete stories of up to 12 scenes with branching choices and a picture for every option. Add new characters mid-story. No subscription — you pay per story.

  • AI Dungeon

    Endless roleplay with no structure. Great for play, but no book-like "finished" feeling. Text-only, no illustrations. English only.

  • NovelAI

    A writer's editor for pros. No pre-built scenes — you write, AI fills in. Images live behind a separate $25+ image subscription.

  • ChatGPT / Claude / Gemini

    Can write scenes, but no fixed structure, no character memory across sessions, no image on every scene. The UX isn't built for story co-authoring.

What's next

We're building this for the long run. Here's what's coming:

  • "Books" mode

    Chapters, table of contents, PDF and EPUB export. Eventually — printed books via print-on-demand.

  • More genres and worlds

    Expanding the pre-built settings library. You'll still be able to write in your own worlds — that's the core of the product.

  • Persistent characters

    Save heroes to your library and carry them between books. Visual consistency from project to project.

Technology

Built on Next.js 16, Supabase, Anthropic Claude for text and OpenAI gpt-image-1 for illustrations. Images are generated at scene creation time and stored in Supabase Storage. Fully serverless, runs worldwide.
